Intergenerational Project

Over the past number of weeks, Mr Larmour's Primary Six pupils have been working in conjunction with Cregagh Community Association's Older People (led by Marlene Dodds) to create an 'Age Friendly School'.  The project has been underpinned by Linking Generations NI (represented by Lynne Bennett and Vicky Titterington). The boys and girls, alongside the ladies and gentlemen of the estate have worked excellently together through a series of activities such as: 'Wordles' on the area we live in, developing competence in using a range of technological equipment (iPads, tablets etc), making buns and fruit skewers for the Pensioner's lunch with more activities to come up to Christmas!

I have added some photographs below to show what the group have achieved over the past few months and most important, how much they have had working together!
