This term in Primary 6 we are learning about Extreme Earth. We will be focusing on Natural Disasters we have started by focusing on Earthquakes. We thought about what we know already and then what we want to find out. We then researched using iPads and made posters all about Earthquakes. We learnt that an earthquake is measured by an instrument called a seismograph that detects and records ground motion, particularly earthquakes. The pupils also made their own models of what happens underneath the earth’s surface. This week we were shocked to hear that there was an earthquake in Crete! We will be following that story for more updates.🌏
