Engaging with Sign

This year our children were lucky enough to secure a spot on the Engaging with Sign Programme. In partnership with CSSC, Action Deaf Youth ran 2 wonderful introduction to sign language sessions, over 2 weeks with 24 deaf and hearing children in our school. They also ran a very interesting and informative Parent workshop that highlighted the differences and similarities between our deaf and hearing children. It was a fantastic opportunity for all the children and parents and we all enjoyed it very much. I am delighted to say that we can see the children continuing to develop their newfound skills by asking for more signs!
